On Wed. June 10th, Governor Rick Scott signed HB335/SB476, know as the Psychiatric Nurses (Baker Act) bill into law. The law becomes effective July 1, 2015.

The bill allows Psychaitric ARNPs to release patients from a facility after they've been involuntarily committed under the Baker Act.
