Our Summer Social is TOMORROW, September 29th 6:00 - 9:00 pm at Three Dudes Winery in Martindale.  As part of our 2015 initiative to support community services in our area, we have also reached out to Hays County Women's Center (HCWC) to inquire about donations and/or material items needed by the women and children they serve.  We've attached the HCWC wishlist, which is topped by a very high priority need on a delicate subject:  New young women's undergarments (briefs and sports bras) for sexual assault survivors.  If you'd like to pick up any items on the HCWC wishlist, please bring them to the Summer Social or our next meeting, September 7th in San Marcos.

Three Dudes Winery, http://threedudeswinery.com/events_venue, offers a gorgeous, casual venue overlooking the San Marcos River where it runs through Martindale. Both family and dog friendly, this is a great setting for socializing and sampling delicious tapas by Central Texas Culinary Solutions, http://www.centraltexaschef.com, along with wine tasting for only $5 per person. You can sample any or all of the Three Dudes locally cultivated wines, or just bring along something ice cold of your choice -- Beer, wine or any alcohol-free refreshments and snacks you'd like.
