Dear Colleagues,

PIAC (Program Improvement Advisory Council for Medicaid Accountable Care Collaborative) is currently looking for members of the behavioral health community to fill 4 new positions on the Advisory Council (see below).  The ACC program working on improving  integration of Behavioral health into the ACC program of Medicaid.  Also, one new position for oral health as we work to add that to the integrated services offered.

Please forward this email,  if you  are aware of any individual or group who might fit one or more of the positions.  This volunteer advisory  committee to Health Care Policy & Financing.  Work of the Advisory committee is to advise HCPF on way to improve the ACC Medicaid program. We generally meet monthly for 2-3 hours discussing various health care related topics.

I personally would like to see more nursing involvement with this level of policy making.  If anyone knows of a consumer of behavioral health or a strong consumer advocate for behavioral health in the current Medicaid system  please have them apply.

Finally, nominations  from outside the Denver Metro area are desirable also. If a member of the committee is unable to attend in person, they are encourage member to call in to the meetings.  Also all the meetings are open anyone interested of the public. Please distribute widely.
