Sunday, October 4 at 6:00 PM at Seattle's Central Cinema, ACNM WA will kick off Midwifery Week with a showing of this poignant film about American midwives serving women in hospitals: The Mama Sherpas.

I saw this film premier at the national meetings in DC in June where it was presented by the filmmaker and one of the mamas featured in it. If you want to show your partner/friends/kids/parents what exactly it is that you do, you must take them to see this showing. No one can be unmoved by it.
