I want to thank you as President of the Mount Baker Nurse Practitioner Association, the MBNPA Board of Directors and members for the great honor you have given me. It is especially thrilling to be the first recipient of The Georgia Lee Award. I will cherish the Pearl necklace for ever and wear it with great pride.
 
You and the board have done a wonderful job making the organization what it is today. It is very gratifying to see so many NP’s attending meetings and being involved in the future of the Nurse Practitioner Profession. Even though I am retired, I remain dedicated to our future. I am especially proud to be a lifetime member of this association and thank you for this honor. I will continue to support our cause as much as possible.
