Professional Achievements:

I have worked in differents patient settings including hospitals, nursing homes, providing home health care where I had perfomed wound care and ostomy care for my patients. I care for post operative patients including post orthopedic and post neurologic surgical wounds, as well as post thyroidectomy, hysterectomy, or pressure ulcer wounds, including the application of complex dressing, and wound Vac therapy. I am comfortable using differents EMR including Meditech and Cerner. I speak English, French and Creole, and I am well verse in Spanish. Im a team player and can also work independently.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

Nursing is an incredible profession because it offers so many diverse opportunities.You can work in different settings including nursing homes, ALF, hospital, the patient home; and you can provide care to various populations such as the pediatric, geriatric, women health, respiratory care, wound care etc...One of my favorite thing about my profession is to allow me to care for people when they are unable to do so. This profession allowed me to be the best that I can be profesionally but also on a personal level.
