I am a professional Advanced Practice Registered Nurse with comprehensive experience in internal medicine and in acute care clinical settings delivering patient care following the national patient safety goals. I possess strong clinical and health assessment skills to assess conditions, implement appropriate interventions, and contribute to the delivery of quality care.

I am currently working for Delray Physician Care Center full time as an APRN, I also have been working for JFK Medical Center for the past 20 years as a Registered Nurse and now as Per Diem. I work in collaboration with Cardiovascular Surgeons and Heart Failure physicians to deliver high quality of care to a multicultural adult population with cardiovascular diseases. I am efficient in caring for post-operative open-heart patients, patients with devices such as AV/VV ECMO, IABP, IMPELLA, CENTRIMAG, LVAD. I also care for intubated patients with fast tract extubating, dialysis patients on CRRT, Aortic Aneurysm patients, manage patients that are on multiple cardiac drips, and care for hemodynamically unstable patients. I provide protocol-driven skilled nursing to patients and family support services utilizing a patient-focused care model to ensure quality care.

Previously at the same facility, I spent eleven years caring for neurosurgical ICU patients where I provided care to patients with both ischemic and hemorrhagic stroke, brain tumors, bariatric surgery and surgical patients, drug overdose, pulmonary and neurological problems. Prior to working as an ICU Registered Nurse I provided skilled nursing care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients where I also worked as a relief charge nurse and provided floor leadership to staffs.

While I was in the AS program at Palm Beach Community college, I successfully challenged the LPN exam and started to work at JFK Medical Center in an Orthopedic unit. After obtaining my AS degree from Palm Beach Community College, I went on to acquire my Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing (BSN-RN) from Florida Atlantic University and further my education at South University in the Master of Science Degree in Nursing program with Specialization in Family Nurse Practitioner.

I am married with 3 beautiful children, I am presently residing in Wellington, FL. I enjoy spending time with my family and loved ones and travel.
