Professional Achievements:

I have been a NICU RN for 5 1/2 years and have recently graduated PNP school (May 2018). I am a part of the developmental committee in the Albany Medical Center NICU and have implemented the new Family Communicaton protocol that requires children who are critically ill and/or will be in the NICU for more than 30 days for parents to have a sit down meeting with various members of the medical team to ensure good communication and appropriate care.

Favorite Thing About My Profession:

I love interacting with the kids. They make the job what it is and coming from a large family, I find it easy to communicate with the children and their families.
