Favorite Thing About My Profession:
Through my 3 years of clinical experiences and rotations, I have had the privilege of working with patients throughout the entire lifespan and over a whole spectrum of cultures and socioeconomic strata. These experiences, particularly my experiences at Rosie’s Place (healthcare for disadvantaged and homeless women) in Boston, helped to crystalize my belief that comprehensive, compassionate, holistic healthcare is essential for all individuals, regardless of socioeconomic status and/or an individual’s ability to access high quality care. My goal in pursuing my Masters of Science Nursing and becoming a NP was to take my passion for healing people much further than my previous medical training as an EMT-B and I feel incredibly fortunate to have chosen to restart my career in this way. Through safe, compassionate, holistic, culturally competent, evidence-based care that is focused on health/wellness promotion and disease prevention, I hope to change the lives of those around me in a positive way.Education History
