Arelis Madera, M.D., endocrinologist, earned both her undergraduate and Medical Degrees at the Pontificia Universidad Católica Madre y Maestra in the Dominican Republic. She completed her medical residency at the Bronx Lebanon Hospital in New York, New York and completed her fellowship at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, Ohio. Dr. Madera is board certified in Endocrinology, Diabetes, Metabolism and Internal Medicine. She is a professional member of The Endocrine Society, American College of Physicians, and the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists. She has won the Charlotte Sun Reader’s Choice Award for Best of Charlotte County Endocrinologists for 2007, 2008, 2011, 2012, 2013, and 2014.
