Shane Smith is a Certified Physician Assistant at Gastroenterology Associates of Pensacola, Florida where he practices in a clinical setting. Shane works in General Gastroenterology and Hepatology with focus on cirrhosis related to HCV, alcohol and NASH. Shane enjoys working with his patients and assisting them on their road to recovery, as well as, their transition to liver transplant centers throughout the Southeast. Shane is a supporting member of Florida Academy of Physician Assistants and the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Shane has a Bachelors of Science Degree from the University of Alabama in Sports Medicine, a Masters of Education from Clemson University in Guidance and Counseling and attended Miami Dade College for his Physician Assistant Degree. Shane is married and has two grown children and is a avid sports enthusiast.
