The 2026 Emergency Medicine & Acute Care will focus on the critical issues facing nursing education today, with topics to help educators prepare for nursing’s exciting future.
Speakers
Dr. Patton's formal teaching/Field of Study includes public health and nursing particularly in primary care focusing on rural poor and vulnerable populations.
Dr. Theresa Mostasisa a Professor, Consultant, and Entrepreneur in health care, academia and the business world. With years of experience and education, from the San Francisco Bay Area, she has extended internationally, leading and collaborating with others.
Sandra Higelin, MSN, RN, CWCN, CLNC, is the owner of N.I.A. LLC, Consulting Services. As a Geriatric Clinical Nurse Specialist, a Certified Wound Care Nurse, and a Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, she offers geriatric health care consultations, wound care consultations, patient advocacy services, and education programs in wound care and geriatric issues. She also works as an Expert Witness in Elder Abuse litigation.
