Dr. Alexandria Atuahene Opata is a Board-Certified Endocrinologist currently working for Novo Nordisk in Clinical Development, Medical, and Regulatory Affairs as the Diabetes Scientific Director for the South. A graduate of Rutgers University, she obtained her medical degree from the University of Medicine and Dentistry of NJ-New Jersey Medical School. She completed her residency at Northwell Health and her endocrinology fellowship at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in NYC. With 8 years of experience practicing endocrinology, Dr. Opata is passionate about ensuring patients receive the best care possible. In her current role, she continues this passion by educating clinicians.
