Denise E. Merdich, the president and founder of Aestra Institute (formerly Florida Aesthetics Training Institute), is an acclaimed clinician and international injectable trainer. She has successfully trained thousands of practitioners over the last 15 years in both mainstream and advanced techniques for all neurotoxins, dermal fillers and laser. Merdich has worked with numerous renowned Florida plastic surgeons incorporating medical aesthetics as a natural extension to plastic surgery. She has been a national trainer of the top leading companies in the industry, including Allergan (a world leader in aesthetics and the maker of Botox) and Merz Aesthetics, for over 10 years. She is a multi-specialty trainer for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, physician assistants and dental practitioners. Performing nearly 10,000 procedures per year in her aesthetic practice, Merdich continues to stay in the forefront of aesthetics technology. She has been published in plastic surgery journals and has been recognized by local media as being a leader offering new aesthetic procedures. Her passion for teaching and injecting techniques have earned her international recognition status. Merdich’s undergraduate training was in Ohio specializing in Nursing. She continued on with a Masters in Nursing at University of Florida and University of South Florida.
