The next meeting will be a presentation will be on a new medication, Juxtapid, that is indicated as an adjunct to a low-fat diet and other lipid-lowering treatments in patients with homozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (HoFH). Speaker will be Kim Komosa, a nurse practitioner and clinical lipid specialist.
