Description

Seeking a confident, independent Adult/Family Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join a primary care practice in the Bronx, NY.

This role involves managing patient encounters autonomously, providing comprehensive care to diverse populations, and collaborating with healthcare teams to improve community health outcomes.

Responsibilities And Duties

• Conduct physical exams, record medical histories, and develop individualized care plans.
• Order, administer, and interpret diagnostic tests timely (e.g., labs, imaging).
• Prescribe medications and therapies, monitoring patient responses timley.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention and health management.
• Collaborate with physicians colleagues, specialty and primary care, for improved outcomes
• Operate and maintain medical equipment in compliance with safety standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Education: Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited program.
• Experience: 2+ years of clinical experience in primary care or family medicine. Must be confident with managing encounters and rather independent.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in diagnostic testing and chronic disease management.
• Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, empathy, cultural competency, and ability to work independently.
  
  

Licensure/Certifications

• Active New York State NP license.
• Board Certification as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner.
