JOB DESCRIPTION
POSITION TITLE: Child Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
LOCATION: Tallahassee, Florida.
REPORTS TO: CEO, CMO
EDUCATION: Master’s or Doctorate degree in psychiatric mental health from an accredited 
program
WORK EXPERIENCE: Will train new graduates.
SALARY RANGE: Negotiable; based on experience.
POSITION TYPE: Full-Time or Part time
LANGUAGE: English; or Bilingual (English and Spanish). 
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMNNP) will provide outpatient psychiatric 
evaluation and medication management services at Ability Plus Mental Health Clinic for both Children and Adults. The PMHNP will work in coordination with Ability Plus counseling services to provide psychiatric 
services to children and adult patients with behavioral health issues. The PMHNP will be required to work 
on site. Services will be provided face to face and through telehealth or telemedicine services. The PMHNP 
will work in collaboration with a Behavioral Health Assistant/Clinical Medical Assistant to coordinate patients care, assist with scheduling, and caseload management.
