Evolve Psychological Services, a group practice in Montclair, is seeking a part-time, per diem NJ licensed and insured Psychiatric Advanced Practice Nurse (APN) with experience conducting culturally informed psychiatric diagnostic evaluations with children (age 5 and up), adolescents and adults and prescribing/monitoring medication, when appropriate, to join our diverse and professional team. Appointments are conducted in-person and virtually. Responsibilities include:

• collaborating with the Evolve team as well as professionals across disciplines for information gathering, case conceptualization and care coordination 
• establishing warm and empathic relationships with clients 
• ordering appropriate laboratory and diagnostic tests
• developing clinically appropriate treatment plans
• providing psychoeducation to clients in a culturally appropriate manner
• conducting individual and family psychotherapy
• conducting risk assessment and care coordination
• prescribing medication, when appropriate, with close monitoring 
• responding to clients in need of support in a timely and compassionate manner
• recommending other clinically appropriate evaluations and interventions
• completing clinical documentation in a timely manner.

Candidates who are not in private practice, have liability insurance and have an agreement with a collaborating psychiatrist are welcomed to apply.
