1099 Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

Location: In-Person (DC or VA) and/or Remote (MD, NY, FL, or DE)

Overview: NothingBetter Health Group is hiring independent, motivated PMHNPs looking to shape their own outpatient practice. As a 1099 contractor, you’ll control your schedule, patient population, and clinical volume—down to choosing whether you accept insurance, self-pay, or a combination.

We offer a progressive reimbursement model that increases with your clinical engagement, while fully supporting your independence. Our practice is deeply committed to inclusive, accepting trauma-informed care, particularly for LGBTQIA+ and other marginalized communities, in a trauma-informed and affirming environment. We also offer Ketamine and Spravato with integrated therapy in our Falls Church VA Office

You may practice in-person in DC or Virginia, and/or remotely in Maryland, New York, Florida, or Delaware—depending on your licensure and preferences.

Requirements:

• Active PMHNP-BC certification
• Licensure in at least one of the following: DC, VA, MD, NY, FL, or DE (if you don’t have autonomous practice, we may help you find your own collaborator)
• Independent practice readiness or willingness to work within a mentorship program
• Comfortable with virtual and/or in-person care
• Commitment to affirming, culturally responsive mental health treatment
• Lived experience with LGBTQ+ or other marginalized community.
