Opportunity: BLS-Orthopedic Surgery

This locum tenens position offers an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic orthopedic surgery team in a well-established healthcare facility. The role provides valuable experience in a supportive environment with opportunities for professional growth.

Job Details:

• Locum tenens assignment from 10/22/2025 to 2/22/2026 covering maternity leave
• Inpatient setting focused on elective orthopedic surgery
• No call requirements
• Work autonomously rounding and coordinating discharges for elective orthopedic patients
• Supervising providers available but not always on-site
• Procedures include dressing changes and removing lines
• Patient demographics include adult and geriatric populations
• Experience with orthopedics required
• Must have active Virginia license, DEA, and BLS certification
• EPIC EMR experience beneficial
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 120 days
• Facility provides reimbursement for rental car (standard economy), hotel ($150/night), and flights (standard economy)
