• Overseeing the Observation unit which typically consists of 2-3 patients

• New graduates are welcome to apply

• Position available immediately

• Coverage needed for 8/4-8 with ongoing dates needed - minimum of 1 week per week (5 days in a row)

• 12-hour shifts including both day (7a-7p) and night shifts (7p-7a) - provider must be flexible

• When not rounding in the Observation unit, the APP will assist in the ER under the supervision of the ED physician

• Rural ED setting with approximately 26 patients per day (9,500 annually)

• Single provider coverage model

• EPIC documentation system

• Requirements include: active NY license, board certification, BLS, ACLS, and NY DEA

• Preference for candidates within driving distance (within 4 hours) **Compensation:**
