This Level 1 Trauma Center with Comprehensive Stroke designation is a leading healthcare institution in the region. The facility utilizes eCare/Cerner EMR system and provides advanced neurological care services within a supportive professional environment.

Opportunity: AANP,AANC,NCCPA - Neuroendovascular

This is an urgent need for a qualified Advanced Practice Provider to join a respected neurological team while they recruit for a permanent position. This opportunity provides exposure to complex cases in a high-acuity setting with supportive physician collaboration.

Job Details:

• Contract duration: August 2025 - November 2025
• Inpatient, hospital-based setting focusing on rounding, consults, and postoperative care
• No OR/First Assist or procedural work required
• Must have basic understanding of acute neurosurgical and stroke emergencies, ICU care, and postoperative management
• Coverage includes 240 hours in a 6-week schedule
• Hours are 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., in-house coverage required
• Weekend coverage required every 4th weekend
• No on-call duties
• Average patient load of 10 patients per day
• APP will work autonomously with supervising physician available off-site
• Simple suture skills required for minor laceration repair
• Patient demographics range from ages 0 to 99
• Emergency privileges have been approved for expedited start
• Requirements include: Board Certification (ANCC, AANP or NCCPA), active MI license, clean background check, BLS, ENLS, NIHSS, and MI DEA
• Looking for provider available for 2-3 shifts per week or more
• No new graduates accepted

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Potential for permanent placement with reduced conversion fees based on hours worked.
