Practice Setting

• Inpatient CTICU at a major academic medical center
• Adult ICU population only
• Work alongside attendings, hospitalists, and cardiac critical care teams
• High-volume transplant center

Schedule

• Full-time 12-hour day shifts (7a-7p)
• Flexible structure - not locked into 7-on/7-off
• 8-10 patients per shift with 1-2 daily admits

Cases and Procedures

• High-acuity academic center - transplant, ECMO, vent management
• Complex cardiac ICU patients
• ECMO and transplant management
• No line or procedure placement required

Requirements

• Certified Physician Assistant with Acute Care training
• Active Louisiana license required
• BLS, ACLS, and DEA certifications
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience
