Position Description

Carle Health is seeking an additional NP/PA to join our Gastroenterology Department in Urbana, Illinois.


Opportunity Details

  • Join a growing team of 15 APPs (5 GI Inpatient Service, 8 GI Ambulatory and 2 Colon Rectal), 9 Gastroenterologists, and 5 Colon/Rectal Surgeons
  • 4 x 10 hour shift schedule including weekday and weekend coverage
  • Position includes a blend of GI Inpatient service in the hospital and clinic shifts seeing hospital follows ups as a transition to DHI Ambulatory APP service or PCP

Education Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant
  • Additional experience working with Gastroenterology patients preferred, but not required. Willing to train new graduates that have an interest in Gastroenterology.

Licensure/Certification Requirements: 

Current Illinois advanced practice nurse/physician assistant licensure

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation range for this position is $59.38 - $77.20/hour. This represents a good faith minimum and maximum range for the role at the time of posting by Carle Health. The actual compensation offered a candidate will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate’s experience, qualifications, location, training, licenses, shifts worked and compensation model.
