Nurse Practitioner, OB/GYN
Are you a dedicated and experienced Nurse Practitioner looking to make a significant impact in women's healthcare? Join our client's multidisciplinary team at a leading Women & Families Hospital, where you'll provide comprehensive and expedited care to obstetric and gynecologic patients in our Specialized Referral Clinic (SRC).
About the Role
As a full-time OB/GYN Nurse Practitioner, you'll be an integral part of our SRC, operating Monday through Friday from 12 PM to 8 PM. You'll work collaboratively with obstetricians, gynecologists, nurses, and support staff, ensuring high-quality, patient-centered care in a streamlined setting. Your expertise will be crucial in a wide range of patient care activities, including:

Treating and evaluating patients, and administering advanced nursing care.

Diagnosing conditions and prescribing medical therapeutics in collaboration with a licensed physician.

Managing conditions such as hyperemesis gravidarum, iron deficiency, post-GYN surgical concerns, vaginal bleeding, postpartum blood pressure monitoring, and lab assessment.

Addressing stable pregnancies of unknown location, Bartholin/labial cyst abscess treatment, STI/UTI evaluation and treatment, IUD complications, emergency contraception, and post-exposure testing and prophylaxis.

Contributing to a safe and therapeutic environment that prioritizes patient privacy, comfort, and emotional well-being, treating all patients with consideration to age, race, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, religion, socioeconomic background, and culture.
Qualifications
Education:
-
Required: Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing.

Required: Master's Degree in Nursing from an accredited Nursing program.
Experience (Preferred):
-
2 years of experience as a Nurse Practitioner.

1 year of experience in a clinical specialty practice.
-
1 year of experience in emergency department practice.

1 year of outpatient/ambulatory experience.

Experience in an EPIC environment.
Licenses/Certifications (Required):
-
CRNP - PA Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner.

RN-LIC - PA Registered Nurse License.
-
BLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support.

ACLS - Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.

Preferred: PRX-AUTH - Prescriptive Authority.
