APP – Emergency Department (NP/PA) HCA-Lehigh Regional Medical Center Compensation & Contract

• Hourly Rate: $90/hr

• Contract Type: 1099 independent contractor

• Malpractice Coverage: Included, with tail protection

⏰ Shift Schedule

• Monday–Wednesday:

  • 9 AM–9 PM

  • 11 AM–11 PM

• Thursday–Sunday: 9 AM–10 PM

Department Setup & Coverage

• Annual Volume: ~26,000 patient visits/year

• APP Coverage: 13–22 hours/day

• EMR System: Epic

✅ Role & Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive ER care independently and collaboratively

• Document efficiently in Epic and work within department protocols

• Assist with patient flow, triage, treatment, and disposition

• Support physicians and coordinate with nursing and ancillary teams

• 2 years of recent Hospital ER Experience Required

Schedule Options

• Full-Time: 12 shifts/month (includes 2 weekend shifts and holiday coverage)

• Part-Time: 6 shifts/month (includes 1 weekend shift and holiday coverage)
