A well-established Sarasota, Florida adult internal medicine practice is seeking a licensed ARNP or Physician Assistant who will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality care to adult patients, manage a spectrum of acute and chronic conditions, and promote overall wellness. This position demands a blend of advanced clinical skills,
compassionate patient interaction, and a deep understanding of the nuances in adult
medical care. The ideal candidate is a proactive and dedicated professional equipped with
diagnostic acumen, effective communication abilities with patients, family members, and
fellow staff members, and have an overall collaborative spirit.

Responsibilities & Duties
-Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and obtain detailed medical histories_
-Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses
-Develop individualized treatment plans for patients
-Prescribe medications and treatments as necessary
-Order and interpret diagnostic tests
-Provide health education to patients and their families
-Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly
-Collaborate with physicians & other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care
-Document patient information & treatment plans accurately in electronic health records
-Participate in promoting patient health in coordination with medical spa and supplements
-Share in providing rotational after hours and weekend call as established with physician
-Share in hospital rounding of patients as established with physician

Internal Medicine ARNP/PA Qualifications & Skills
Possess an appropriate degree from an accredited program with certification in Adult
Medicine and current and unrestricted licensure in adult medicine
Eligible for Federal DEA
Strong clinical skills and the ability to manage complex cases under the supervision of the
practice physician
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in EMR

Ability to perform clinical procedures relevant to internal medicine

FTE/Hours per pay period with competitive salary and quarterly production bonus formula
40 hours a week spent in a mix of direct patient care & practice coverage as arranged
Vacation, CME days, Federal Holidays per office protocol
