Facility:

This Level III Trauma facility boasts over 250 beds and features state-of-the-art technology with Epic EMR system. The vascular surgery department includes a collaborative team of 2 APPs, 2 Medical Assistants, 3 RVTs, 1 manager, and 1 full-time provider, creating a supportive professional environment with on-site laboratory services.

Opportunity: Board Certified - First Assist Experience

This position offers a unique opportunity to join an established vascular surgery team as an APP First Assist, allowing you to utilize your specialized skills in a variety of vascular procedures while enjoying a flexible schedule.

Job Details:

• Cover 2 long weekends per month (Thursday through Monday/Tuesday)
• First assist in general vascular surgery
• Perform endovascular procedures
• Assist with bypass procedures including fem-pop and aorto-femoral/iliac
• Participate in peripheral, carotid, thoracic and abdominal vascular surgeries
• Place vascular access devices
• Assist with subclavian steal procedures
• COVID vaccination required
• Colorado license required
• Must disclose Epic experience history
• Estimated credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days

Compensation:

Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included. Travel benefits include flight reimbursement up to $750 round trip, lodging reimbursement up to $150 per night, economy car rental, and standard IRS mileage rate.
