Schedule: Mix of 8, 12, and 24-hour shifts

Salary Range: $136,000–$183,000 (based on experience)

Overview:

A premier regional pediatric medical center is seeking a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) to join its dedicated and collaborative team of neonatal care professionals. The facility offers comprehensive pediatric services, including trauma care, behavioral health, outpatient therapy, and advanced NICU support. Position Highlights:

• Join a team of 6 NNPs with a collaborative mix of advanced practice providers and physicians
• Daily patient load: 6–10 patients
• Participate in interdisciplinary, nurse-led rounds with surgeons and support staff including pharmacists, dietitians, discharge planners, and respiratory therapists
• Responsible for writing orders, performing physicals, discharges, communicating with families, and participating in peer chart reviews (OPPE)
• EMR: Epic
• No on-call requirement

Team Composition:

• Daily team includes 3 advanced practice providers or residents + 1 neonatologist
• Team configurations vary (mix of NNPs, PNPs, and residents)
• Full support from allied health services including PT, OT, Speech Therapy

Schedule & Flexibility:

• Rotating mix of 8, 12, and 24-hour shifts
• Night shifts and weekends/holidays required (flexible scheduling to support work-life balance)
• No fixed weekend/holiday rotation, offering adaptable time-off planning

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: $136,000–$183,000 depending on experience
• CME allowance: $2,500
• Generous PTO: 216 hours annually, increases with tenure
• Annual incentive bonus potential based on volume

Qualifications:

• Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) certification or eligibility
• New graduates welcome; contingent offers available for candidates scheduled to sit for NNP certification
