Job Summary

The Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner, APN for the Cardiology Service at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center works collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health team and is responsible for providing comprehensive and age appropriate direct care and follow up to a population of patients,

Requirements

• MSN/DNP from an accredited nursing program required
• Active New Jersey RN and APN license
• The ideal candidate has at least three years of acute care work experience
• Experience in cardiology is preferred
• APN work experience strongly preferred
  
  

Responsibilities

• The components of the role include clinical practice, consultation, professional development, education, and research
• The APN works in conjunction with the Cardiology Attending performing patient consults and follow up care
• Clinical core privileges will include the management, treatment, and ordering, performing, and interpreting labs, radiography, and other diagnostics test for acute and chronic cardiac disorders in the adult population
