A healthcare organization in Massachusetts is currently seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a great opportunity at their Urgent Care facility. This role requires providing patient-centered care and handling various medical conditions.

About the Opportunity:

• Shift: Day and weekend shifts
• Schedule: Flexible schedule with 12 shifts per month required
• Hours: Varies by shift
• Setting: Urgent care facility

Responsibilities:

• Providing quality care in an urgent care setting
• Performing procedures such as suturing and wound care
• Managing 20-30 patients per shift
• Collaborating with providers, nursing staff, and medical assistants
• Utilizing the EPIC EMR system for documentation
• Providing emergency care as needed

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in urgent care or emergency settings
• Active Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license in Massachusetts
• Current DEA and CSR certifications
• Proficiency in clinical procedures like suturing
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Desired Skills:

• 3+ years of experience in a similar role
• Board certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Experience with EMR systems
• Strong analytic and problem-solving skills

Candidates must be ready to start in September or early October and possess the ability to undergo credentialing within 60 days.
