Nurse Practitioner – NICU/Pediatrics

Location: Chico, California

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Full-Time

Employment Type: Permanent, Direct Hire

Salary Range: $114,000 – $186,000 annually

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct care, assessment, and management of NICU/Pediatric patients
• Perform physical diagnosis, psychosocial assessment, and clinical documentation
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
• Act as a resource for nursing staff and contribute to a patient-centered care model
• Participate in advanced procedures as needed (intubation, umbilical line placement preferred)

Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program
• Current RN and NP license in California
• NP Furnishing License (or within 3 months of hire)
• DEA (or proof of application within 3 months)
• AHA BLS certification
• Meets CMS billing criteria
• Credentialing eligible
• NRP & PALS (within 6 months of hire)

Preferred Qualifications:

• Pediatric acute care and/or NICU experience
• Experience with neonatal procedures (intubation, umbilical lines)
• National PNP Certification
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
