A well-established outpatient mental health clinic in Queens is seeking a Spanish-speaking Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to join its interdisciplinary team. This full-time, hybrid position combines meaningful clinical work with schedule flexibility and competitive compensation.

You’ll provide comprehensive psychiatric care to a diverse, multicultural caseload across the lifespan—serving children, adolescents, and adults—in a collaborative, mission-driven environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform psychiatric evaluations, crisis assessments, and diagnostic interviews
• Prescribe and manage psychiatric medications, including MAT and injectables
• Collaborate with therapists, supervisors, and medical staff to coordinate care
• Document treatment accurately and timely in an EHR system
• Participate in clinical initiatives addressing conditions such as depression, PTSD, and suicidal ideation
• Complete benefit-related documentation (e.g., housing, SSI) as needed
• Attend team meetings, case reviews, and required trainings
• Comply with all mandatory reporting requirements (e.g., NYS Central Registry)

Required Qualifications:

• Master’s Degree and board certification as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
• Active New York State RN and NP licenses in Psychiatry
• Authorized to prescribe Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT)
• Fluent in Spanish (required)
• Current BLS certification
• Experience treating clients across the lifespan
• Proficient in using EHRs and standard tech tools (Word, Excel, email)

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years in outpatient psychiatry or community mental health
• Familiarity with OMH Part 599 and trauma-informed care
• Experience serving underserved populations or working in telepsychiatry
• Certification from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology
