CRNA Job Details

• Position Type: Locum tenens (Travel CRNA Contract)
• Location: Tuba City, Arizona 86045 – Navajo Nation
• Healthcare Setting: Acute Care / Surgical Services
• Shift: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:30pm (8-hour shifts)
• Weekly Hours: 40
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $7,120–$7,310 per week
• Contract Length: Up to 100 weeks, with potential extension
• Rotational Call: Yes, as scheduled
• Start Date: August 11, 2025
• End Date: July 12, 2027
• On-site Housing: Available (subject to approval, $650–$750/month)

CRNA Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted CRNA license (accepted from any U.S. state)
• Board Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of CRNA experience (3–6 months highly preferred)
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced acute care/surgical environment
• COVID-19 & Flu vaccine exemptions may be accepted with documentation

Key Responsibilities

• Provide anesthesia care for surgical, obstetric, and procedural cases for a diverse patient population
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in rotational call coverage as assigned
• Document anesthesia care using the RPMS EMR system
• Perform pre-anesthesia assessments, develop anesthesia plans, administer anesthesia, and manage post-anesthesia recovery
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and clinical staff
