Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner Job Details

• Location: Natick, MA 01760 – Discover Massachusetts healthcare jobs in a welcoming community with excellent schools and convenient access to Boston.
• Employment Type: Locum tenens (Travel/Contract)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Hours per Week: 36
• Shift Duration: 12 Hour Any
• Estimated Weekly Salary: $3710 - $4390
• Patient Encounters per Shift: Approximately 10
• Setting: On-site only (no telemedicine)
• Start Date: September 1, 2025 (ASAP credentialing available)
• Duration: 20 weeks, with potential for extension

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license (Massachusetts preferred)
• Board Certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in Family Medicine or primary care
• Ability to provide full-time, on-site coverage (no remote work)
• Experience with pediatric and adult patient populations preferred
• Strong communication and teamwork skills

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Perform medical consults for children and adults on an inpatient psychiatric unit
• Collaborate with social workers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals
• Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Document patient encounters and communicate findings to the interdisciplinary healthcare team
