Dental (Guardian) $50 deductible, $2,000 annual max; 80% basic / 50% major; orthodontia 50% up to $2,000 (lifetime to age 19).

Vision (BCBSNC) Exam $10, materials $25, frames $130 allowance; contacts $130 allowance.

Life/AD&D 100% employer‑paid (example benefit $15,000).

Job Details

Role Nurse Practitioner — Urgent Care (Full‑time)

Schedule 3‑2‑2‑3 rotation, 12‑hour shifts; Sun 10 00a–6 00p (8 hrs); last patient 8 30p (Mon–Sat) / 5 30p (Sun); holidays 8‑hour shifts at 1.5×. (job)

What You Will Be Doing

Provide walk‑in urgent care across the lifespan focused H&P, differential, treatment plan, and patient education within a team‑based model with physician support. (job)

Order/interpret on‑site labs, digital X‑rays, and EKGs to guide real‑time decisions.

Perform urgent procedures laceration repair/suturing, wound care, I&D, splinting/orthopedic stabilization.

Deliver occupational medicine services (e.g., drug screens, DOT & pre‑employment physicals, TB testing); collaborate with local employers.

Document efficiently in the EMR, coordinate follow‑ups, and escalate cases requiring EMS/ED transfer.

Skills You Need

Education/Licensure Graduate of accredited Nursing + NP program; current NC NP license. (job)

Certifications ACLS + PALS or BLS (AHA) within 3 months of hire. (job)

Preferred FNP (or specialty NP) certification; 2+ years in urgent care/ER/primary care. (job)

Core competencies Independent assessment/diagnosis, imaging & lab interpretation, minor procedures, EMR proficiency, patient‑first communication.
