Title: Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Urology

Location: Bronx, NY (Onsite)

Compensation

Pay Range: $94,500 - $135,000 Per Year

Description

Join a dynamic urology team providing comprehensive care for urological conditions.

Engage in outpatient clinics, inpatient rounding, and assist in procedures.

Collaborate closely with urologists for optimal patient outcomes.

Participate in pre- and post-operative care.

Key Responsibilities

Perform evaluations and follow-ups for urological patients.

Conduct thorough histories, physical exams, and assessments.

Order and interpret diagnostic tests.

Assist in minor office procedures and surgeries.

Provide patient education on treatment plans and care.

Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.

Document visits and procedures accurately in EMR.

Qualifications

PA: Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program.

NP: Master's or Doctorate degree in Nursing with certification in Adult, Family, or Acute Care.

Current state licensure as a PA or NP.

National certification (NCCPA for PA; AANP/ANCC for NP).

DEA registration and prescriptive authority.

BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Minimum 1-2 years of clinical experience in urology or a surgical specialty preferred but will train.

New graduates with strong clinical rotations in urology or surgical areas will be considered.
