Position Description
Occupational Health / Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner needed for a part-time temp contract opportunity with Yoh’s client located in Raytown, MO.
This clinic offers occupational, urgent care, and family medicine services for employees and their families. Mostly occupational health/urgent care services with family practice overflow. The position is expected to be temporary for a few months.
--> SHIFTS:
Tuesdays: 3:00pm to 6:00pm (4 hr minimum paid)
Thursdays: 7:30am to 11:30am
Fridays: 7:00am to 3:00pm

Top Skills You Should Possess:
- Active/unrestricted Nurse Practitioner (ANP/FNP) license in state of Missouri
- Current prescription authority
- Minimum of (3) years' experience as a provider
- Preferred experience in: Occupational/Employee Health, Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, Corrections, Primary Care, Internal Medicine, or Family Practice type setting
- Assessment, triage, treatment, and education for employee health concerns
- Provide first-aid medical treatment
- Perform onsite physical assessments (pre-placement, return-to-work, fitness-for-duty)
- Ambulatory care such as treating sore throats, ear aches, rashes, pink eye, etc.
- Provide wellness materials/information
- Provide medical testing such as EKGs, pulmonary function, blood glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol, vision and hearing screening and perform limited interpretation of tests
- Provide onsite testing for strep pharyngitis, UTI, influenza, hyperglycemia and hypoglycemia
- Nationally Certified (ANCC, AANP)
- Current BLS/CPR (hands on courses only - no online accepted)
- NPI
- Computer skills with previous experience using EMR (Epic a plus!)
- Yearly TB Test or QuantiFERON Gold
- Interpersonal skills necessary to interview, teach and counsel patients and interact with clients/employers
