Our team specializes in the diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of vascular conditions, offering advanced surgical and minimally invasive procedures. We are seeking a highly motivated Nurse Practitioner (NP) to join our growing team.
Position Overview:
The Nurse Practitioner will work collaboratively with vascular surgeons and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care for patients with vascular conditions. This role involves inpatient and/or outpatient care, pre- and post-operative management, and coordination of patient education and follow-up.
Responsibilities:
•Conduct patient evaluations, physical exams, and obtain detailed medical histories
•Order, interpret, and evaluate diagnostic tests relevant to vascular conditions
•Assist in pre-operative and post-operative care, including wound checks and follow-up visits
•Manage chronic vascular conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, venous insufficiency, and aneurysmal disease
•Provide patient and family education on treatment plans, lifestyle modifications, and preventive care
•Collaborate with surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal outcomes
•Participate in quality improvement initiatives and ongoing professional development
Qualifications:
•Master’s or Doctorate degree in Nursing
•Current Nurse Practitioner license
•Board Certified as an Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner
•Prior experience in vascular surgery, cardiology, or a surgical specialty preferred (willing to train the right candidate, including new graduates)
•Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
•Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
