Compassionate Care is seeking a part time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner (PMHNPs, FNP, or AGNP) licensed to work in Washington state, to provide psychiatric consultation, and evaluation and management of patients residing in assisted livings in the greater Seattle area.

Piruz Huda, PMHNP, is recognized as a leader and veteran in the field of Geriatric Psychiatry.  He currently provides psychiatric consultation to over 20 assisted livings in the greater Seattle area. He will provide mentorship to nurse practitioners interested in working in the highly in-demand field of geriatric psychiatry.

 Learn:

• Best practices on treating Behavioral and Psychological Symptoms of Dementia
• Pharmacological and non-pharmacological interventions for treating anxiety, depression, agitation in the assisted living setting.

Service area:  Greater Seattle area including the Eastside

Requirements :

• Licensed in Washington by the Board of Nursing in good standing
• Licensed by the Washington Board of Pharmacy in good standing to prescribe controlled substances (possession of a DEA)
• Possession of Malpractice Insurance as an  Independent Contractor
• 1-year experience working in long term care.
• Have LLC, business license to work as an independent contractor.
