The Nurse Practitioner (NP) independently operates as a healthcare provider, delivering comprehensive wound care and primary care services to patients across diverse settings. These settings include patients' homes, nursing homes, and wound care clinics. The NP is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and managing acute and chronic conditions, with a particular focus on wound management and general health maintenance. 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES 

• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans for wound care and primary care patients.
• Provide advanced wound care treatments, including debridement, dressing changes, and infection management.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Educate patients and caregivers on wound care techniques, preventive measures, and overall health maintenance. 

Qualifications:

• MUST – Graduate of an accredited NP program (MSN or DNP).  Current RN license in OH and NP Cert.  National Cert (ANCC or AANP), active DEA license, CPR and BLS cert.  2 years of NP role within primary care, independent, and/or geriatric specialties.
• PLUS - WOCNB or ABWM Certified.  Will help them get cert.  Wound care experience.  Ursuline graduate.
• Disqualifiers – Only acute care / hospital experience.

Traveling local to Cincinnati, OH (include patients' homes, nursing homes, and wound care clinics) M-F 8-4 40-40 plus hours per week.
