Nurse Practitioner / Physician Assistant - Pain Management

Location: Babylon, NY

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

About The Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a busy pain management practice. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, focusing on both acute and chronic pain conditions in a collaborative clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments, follow-up visits, and medication management
• See approximately 28-30 patients per day
• Perform minor procedures (primarily trigger point injections)
• Collaborate with physicians to develop and implement patient care plans
• Educate patients and provide ongoing counseling on treatment options
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all clinical standards
  
  

Qualifications

• Active and valid NP or PA license
• Master's degree from an accredited program with current certification (AANPCP for NPs)
• DEA and NPI (or eligibility to obtain)
• CPR, BLS, and ACLS certifications
• Experience in pain management preferred (higher compensation considered)
• Strong organizational, clinical, and patient care skills
