• Shift: 12-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, covering operating rooms, outpatient ortho surgery center, endo suites, and cath lab
• Care Team Model: 2:1 or 3:1

Nurse Practitioner Qualifications

• Active Nurse Practitioner license (NP) with Advanced Practice certification
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in acute care or anesthesia settings
• Board Certification or Board Eligible Nurse Practitioner
• Required Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Experience with general, adult, pediatric, trauma, spinal, epidural, and regional anesthesia
• Preferred skills: Neonatal anesthesia, pain management, ventilation management, central and arterial line placement, administration of blood products
• Strong ability to work collaboratively in a care team model

Healthcare Responsibilities

• Deliver acute care anesthesia services in operating rooms, outpatient ortho surgery center, endo suites, and cath lab
• Perform anesthesia for cardiac, orthopedic, vascular, neuro, OB, pediatric, thoracic, and trauma cases (excluding burn, complex pediatrics, and transplant)
• Utilize advanced pain management techniques and perform post-op blocks
• Manage ventilation, acute volume/BP issues, and perform central and arterial line placements
• Administer blood products, supportive fluids, anesthetic drugs, and adjuvant therapies
• Collaborate efficiently within a 2:1 or 3:1 care team model with physicians and anesthesia providers
