Board Certified - Cardiac Surgical Physician's Assistant

Job Details:
• Position reports directly to Cardiovascular Surgeon
• Average patient load of 5-10 patients per day
• Patient demographic includes adult and geriatric populations
• Cardiovascular Thoracic Surgery experience preferred; will consider Critical Care experience (no new graduates)
• EMR System: Epic
• Responsibilities include: writing prescriptions, coordination of care, rounding, interpreting tests, and ordering tests
• Surgical NP candidates will also be considered
• Must be Board Certified PA-C
• Ohio State License preferred; willing to consider providers needing to obtain license if it can be acquired quickly
• ACLS certification required
• COVID vaccination required
• Credentialing timeframe is 60-90 days; temporary privileges potentially available in 45 days

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
