Position Description

We are seeking an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner for a locum tenens position in Florida, beginning Sep 8, 2025. This assignment spans 24 days and offers a flexible 1-day-per-week schedule with shifts available between 9am-5pm or 10am-4pm. Join a well-established primary care practice providing both scheduled and walk-in patient care, supported by medical assistants and a collaborative team.

Responsibilities and Duties
- Conduct patient visits for primary and internal medicine care
- Review patient vitals and histories as prepared by medical assistants
- Diagnose, treat, and manage acute and chronic conditions
- Accept and manage both scheduled appointments and walk-ins
- Document care using eClinicalWorks EMR
- Collaborate with practice staff to ensure efficient patient flow

Additional Information
- Must hold an active Florida nurse practitioner license
- Board certification not required
- Experience with eClinicalWorks preferred
- Flexible scheduling based on candidate availability
