This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. They provide Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans across multiple locations in Idaho.

General Medicine Provider

Job Details:
• Perform non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for veterans • Work in various Idaho locations: Coeur D'alene (1 day/week), Mountain Home (1 day/week), Grangeville (2 days/week), Moscow (0.5 days/week), and Sandpoint (0.5 days/week) • Provider must have their own office space within the specified mile radius of each location • PRN basis, ongoing with flexible scheduling options • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing, no treatment required • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Suitable for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Must have AANP certification • Active and unrestricted full Idaho license required • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Local candidates only, travel included in rates

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
