Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • Multiple location options available including Evansville, Knox, South Bend, Seymour, Kokomo, and Muncie • Position requires 2 days per week at selected locations • Provider must either work at VES locations or have their own office within a 50-mile radius of service area • PRN basis, ongoing with flexible scheduling options • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment (range of motion testing, muscle strength testing) • No prescribing or treatment responsibilities • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Acceptable specialties include family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Requires active AANP certification • Must maintain active and unrestricted full license • Willingness to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Follow-up administrative work required on a regular basis (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Cannot be active military duty, in the reserves, or actively employed at the VA

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.
