Facility:
This facility is a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans by providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The organization maintains multiple locations throughout Michigan and offers flexible scheduling options for healthcare providers.

General Medicine Provider

Job Details:
• Perform Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments for Veterans • Multiple locations available throughout Michigan including Brimley, Alma, Wakefield, Norway, Rogers City, Sault St. Marie, West Branch, Manistique, Ludington, Gaylord, Bad Axe, Presque Isle, Harrisville, Iron Mountain, Grand Rapids, and Newberry • Flexible scheduling with options from 1-4 days per week depending on location • PRN basis, ongoing need • Option to work half days (4-hours) or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment involved • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Suitable for providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Requires active and unrestricted full license • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Local candidates only, travel included in rates • Follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • Opportunity to work in provider's own office location if available

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
