This facility is part of a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans by providing Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. The organization operates multiple locations throughout Minnesota to serve the veteran population with compassionate and thorough medical evaluations.

General Medicine Provider

Job Details:
• Current openings in Detroit Lakes (2 days/week), Bemidji (1 day/week), and Rochester (2 days/week) • Provider must live within 25-mile radius of the facility location • Option to work half days (4 hours) and/or full days (8 hours) • Perform one-time non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing or treatment involved • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Open to providers with backgrounds in family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, general medicine, or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products allowed) • Active and unrestricted full license required • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Must not be active military duty, in reserves, or actively employed at the VA • Some administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, reading diagnostics) • One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

• Half-day Rate: $600 flat rate for 4-hour shifts or less • Daily Rate: $1,200 flat rate for 5-hour shifts or longer

Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
