This facility is part of Veterans Evaluation Services (VES), a government contractor helping our nation's Veterans. The organization provides compensation and pension exams and separation health assessments for Veterans across the country.

Opportunity:
General Medicine Provider

Job Details:
• Perform compensation and pension exams plus separation health assessments for Veterans • Current openings available in provider's own office locations and in Richfield, UT (2 days per week needed) • PRN basis, ongoing opportunities • Option to work half days (4-hours) and/or full days (8-hours) • One-time non-treatment CP exams and separation health assessments • Exams are primarily interview-based with some physical assessment: range of motion testing, muscle strength testing • No prescribing, no treatment required • Quick credentialing and onboarding process • Acceptable specialties include: family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or anyone with a background in general medicine or experience with compensation and pension • Must be proficient in METs testing, evaluating and diagnosing respiratory and cardiovascular conditions • Must own a laptop (no Mac/Apple products) • Requires AANP certification • Must maintain active and unrestricted full license in Utah • Must be willing to complete DMA training to become DMA certified • Regular follow-up administrative work required (addendums, medical opinions, and reading diagnostics) • Local candidates only, travel included in rates • Cannot be active military duty, in the reserves, or actively employed at the VA

Compensation:
Competitive hourly rates with weekly pay and malpractice included.

• Half-day Rate: $600 flat rate for 4 hour shifts or less • Daily Rate: $1200 flat rate for 5 hour shifts or longer • One-time bonus of $650 for completing all required training and performing first exams

Estimated Hourly Rate: $85 - $100
